North American Brass Band Association
The Rocky Mountain Brassworks is a brass band in the finest tradition of British Brass Bands, and our instrumentation is true to the British style. The Brassworks, founded in 1978, is sponsored in part by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and is proud to call the City of Broomfield "home."
The Brassworks rehearses weekly and its members come from various communities along the Front Range. Many occupations are represented by the performers, including a number of music educators. We support public school music education and perform several concerts throughout the year in cooperation with school ensembles and programs. RMBW regularly appears in concerts supporting the Band Festivals in areas such as Lakewood, Green Mountain, Adams County, and Brighton.
